Dubai is a popular travel destination for a number of reasons such as its gorgeous architecture, opulent hotels, and dynamic cultural activities. But also The Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, and the Palm Jumeirah, a man-made island fashioned like a palm tree, are two of the city's most famous sights.
Dubai is also a shoppers' paradise, with a large number of malls and traditional markets selling a variety of goods. Throughout the year, the city also holds a number of international events and festivals that draw tourists from all over the world.
Dubai, the culture, the food and the safety. It is definitely a bit weird when you arrive there as you are literally in a desert but it is such a pleasant city.
About Dubai: Please keep in mind when going to Dubai as part of the culture make sure to dress appropriately.
Best time to go to Dubai is from November to March otherwise it is too hot.
Accommodation: There are two areas of Dubai you could stay in: the palm or the city center where the Burj Khalifa is located.
If you want to stay in at the palm I recommend the Royal central Hotel.
If you want to be in the city center I recommend stay at the Radisson blue hotel.
There are both 5 starts hotels for about 200usd per night.
Day 1:
To get from the airport to your hotel, I would simply suggest getting a taxi. Dubai is known to have some of the cheapest fuel prices, so taxi are very affordable. (Probably the only thing that is affordable)
On the first day I would recommend going to the dubai mall. The dubai mall is a whole activity on its own. You can shop, go to the aquarium, go the the cinema, go the the ice-skating ring, enjoy the fountains and of course the Burj Khalifa located right outside. For dinner you can go to the Huqqa. The Huqqua is a really nice restaurant located in the dubai mall that gives you spectacular view of the Dubai fountains. The restaurant is quiet pricey but also keep in mind that for Dubai the prices there are pretty average.
Day 2:
On day 2 you are going to enjoy Dubai dessert. You will drive across the red san while exploring the desert in a 4W vehicle, you will then enjoy a camel ride, sand boarding and of course take some photos. By the end of the evening you with enjoy love music and a belly dancing show accompanied with a delicious local cuisine buffet. The tour is about 7 hours and is so worth is.
Day 3: On day 3 you will go the the museum of the future. It is such a cool museum where you can see where Dubai is planning to look like in the future. In the afternoon you will go on yatch tour in Dubai marina to relax and enjoys the view from the water. For dinner I would recommend going to the on air dinner. It is such an incredible experience where you get to enjoy dinner in the sky with overlook Dubai. It is a bit of an expensive experience but it is also once in a lifetime dinner.
Day 4:
On day 4 You will go to Abu Dhabi on a day trip. The tour includes the transfer from Dubai to Abudhabi you will visit the Grand mosque. The mosque is honestly the most beautiful thing I have seen. It is just incredible. Keep in mind you have to cover up as respect for their religion, NO inappropriate clothing and cover up your hair. You will then explore Abu Dhabi dates market, the heritage village, and stop at various scenic spots to take beautiful photos.
Day 5:
On day 5 you will go to the palm. the palm is a beautiful beach where you will find many beach clubs and restaurant to enjoy lunch with a beautiful view on the Burj Al-Arab. You can also go on the palm to see the beautiful Atlantis hotel. In the Atlantis hotel is a water park if you want to enjoy the water.
Day 6:
On your last day I would highly recommend The aura sky pool. It is a pool bar where you get incredible view on the palm. It is such a nice way to relax before going back home after a well deserved holiday.
